Creative Writing

Creative writing is considered by some academics to be an extension of the English discipline. That is the English language and literature. It is the focus on students’ self-expression.
In the English writing classes that teach students to compose work based on the rules of the language. In English Tuition classes, the English Tutor covers both writings of the language.

In the educational scheme there must be encouragement for the dreams and imaginings of young students. The student must be permitted emotional expression in order that he may be taught to discipline his emotions. Unlike its academic counterpart of writing classes that teach students to compose work based on the rules of the language, creative writing is believed to focus on students’ self-expression.

Creative writing is usually taught in a workshop format rather than seminar style. In workshops students usually submit original work for peer critique. Students also format a writing method through the process of writing and re-writing. Some courses teach the means to exploit or access latent creativity or more technical issues such as editing, structural techniques, genres, and random idea generating.

Creative writing is an extension of the English discipline. These critical analysis skills are further used in other literary study outside the creative writing sphere. Indeed the process of creative writing, the crafting of a thought-out and original piece. They argue that creative writing hones the students’ abilities to clearly express their thoughts.

They further argue that creative writing also entails an in-depth study of literary terms and mechanisms so they can be applied to the writer’s own work to foster improvement.

1]. Miss Kim gingerly opened the door as it creaked loudly. She moves in step by step as chill ran down her spines.
(Look for 2 Adverb)

2]. A pair of candle looked scruffy and was thin like the stick. A wicked idea came to my mind.
(Look for 1 adjective and 1 simile)

3]. Miss Daisy' eyes widened at the sight of the dollar notes. The notes were as crisp as new bank notes.
(Look for 1 adjective and 1 simile)

4]. That crusty fellow often chased the cats away from his backyard. The irritating cat meowed loudly and when he opened the window to enjoy the scenery, the cats jump away swiftly. Suddenly, fear gripped her and she was rooted to the floor. The next moment, she cried uncontrollably for her mother.
(Look for 3 Adverb, 1 adjective, metaphor and 1 personification)

5]. A thousand thoughts raced through her mind and she did not know what to say. She remained silent for a while; the silence was broken by the ticking of the mantle cuckoo-clock.
